Social Services introduced us to Kellycare in 2024, and in November of that year they began working to support our son. In his 50's and disabled, he lives alone in his own home and with help maintains a degree of independence. At that point Kellycare consisted of experienced, self-employed individuals working together, but since then they have established a company which is recognised by CQC, and they are expanding their team. From the outset we found Kellycare to set high professional standards - good communication systems with client and family; clear records kept; good time-keeping; care taken to understand the client's situation and needs, and to match client and support workers appropriately so that the client can have confidence in the regular visits of carers they know well. As the team expands, we have seen evidence that Kellycare intend to train their recruits by example so that the high standards they set will be maintained. In doing so, it is clear that the members of their team are benefitting by gaining a sense of professional pride in their work. They are flexible in managing and changing hours, for instance when the client has medical appointments. And they are scrupulous in making up hours when such events occur. We have been impressed by Kellycare's consistent thoughtfulness and common sense regarding our son's welfare and their initiative in fulfilling his needs. Kellycare maintain professional boundaries, but in doing so they are kind, courteous and good-humoured, so that relationships are respectful, cordial and straightforward, not only with our son and family, but also with others in our son's community whom they meet in the course of their work. Kelly, Lewis and all the team at KellyCare have been providing the best care for mum for 20 months. Mum is bed bound and they take care of all her personal needs, giving her respect and dignity. They have built a great relationship with her and she is very fond of them. The carers are very kind and patient and seem to enjoy their time with mum, engaging with her with joy and laughter. Mum enjoys spending time with them too. They are always warm and friendly, showing discretion and respect towards other members of the family within the home. We appreciate that they are proactive offering to do tasks for the family as well as for mum. They are highly professional and extremely hard working.
